The Oceanside-based brewery opened its second taproom, the “Purgatory Lounge,” last September in Escondido along with food partners Full Metal Burger. The brewery had previously planned a location in North Park that fell through. Luckily, the social media handle had already been secured ahead of the new plans.

Black Plague is known for their playfully dark theme and Plague Doctor adorned can designs. The skater-owned brewery partners with pro brand ambassadors like Tony Hawk for some of its popular brews like Tony Hawps West Coast IPA.

It’s unclear at this stage of planning when the North Park location is expected to open. Stay updated on Black Plague Brewing by following their new Instagram
