Moment Sushi will open soon at the former Opera Cafe and Patisserie location in Sorrento Valley. You can find the new sushi restaurant in Sorrento Plaza, neighbor to Croutons, Rubio’s, and a Subway location.
This will be the first restaurant for the husband and wife team, Owners Wendy and Wook Jang. Wendy Jang told What Now San Diego we can expect a menu of traditional sushi offerings but with a variety of Korean and Japanese fusion dishes, created by Chef Wook Jang.
You can have a sneak peak of the renovation progress on their Instagram page ahead of their opening. Initial renderings show a bright and modern interior, with enough room outside for patio seating.
Moment Sushi is currently hiring support staff and is expected to open by the end of January. A website is in the making for Moment Sushi to share their full opening plans and menu. For now, follow along on Instagram for updates.
