In leasing documents filed with the city, Kini Koffee leased a 136 square foot retail space in suite 552 in the Santa Fe Square shopping mall near El Nopalito and Pizzaiolo Encinitas.

A GoFundMe account has recently been set up by Owner Jewell Dyer to help with some of the cost of the new location.

“The drive thru is in an amazing location right now I-5, but it needs a lot of work,” she posted.

The space will reportedly require new electrical, flooring, termite damage repair, a fresh paint job and outfitted with espresso material.

“I am hoping to ask you to invest in this female owned and operated start up so we can keep putting smiles on faces and caffeinating the world,” she concluded.

The new spot will reportedly be a drive-thru.

Dyer could not be reached prior to publication.
