Brad Finefrock, Director of Development at Finney’s, tells What Now San Diego the brand had been eyeing the North County market for over three years searching for the right location. “Oceanside is a classic California beach town, which resonated with us,” explains Finefrock.

Finney’s Crafthouse got its start in Westlake Village seven years ago and has now grown to nine locations. “We’ve found ourselves in bedroom communities, local beachy downtown areas, and college towns,” Finefrock says. Their latest restaurant in Laguna Beach opens this week and additional locations coming soon to Santa Clarita Valley and San Bernardino County.

Craft is the all-around theme on Finney’s Crafthouse menu. Featuring 54 scratch-made food items, some of Finney’s Favorites include the Yuzu Buffalo Wings, Kalua Pork Carnitas Tacos, and the Bison Burger. Finney’s offers an elevated take on pub food, with a mix of shareable starters, pizza, tacos, wings, and sandwiches.

At the bar, guests will find 16 signature craft cocktails, and 30 craft beers. Finefrock says, “We localize the craft beer offerings. About half the beers will be local, and half will be from Southern California.”

An exciting and unique feature of the new Oceanside location is its third-story rooftop deck, offering ocean views and another bar.

Finney’s Crafthouse is expected to open in Early 2024. Get to the know Finney’s Crafthouse by visiting their website and follow on Instagram for updates.
