The fast-casual chain was founded in 2011 by Elise and Rick Wetzel of Wetzel’s Pretzels. Offering customized pizzas with artisan ingredients and fresh-made dough, your pizza is made assembly-line style by a dedicated pizzasmith and fired up in record time. 180 seconds to be exact.

The latest outpost of Blaze Pizza is led by multi-unit franchisees Joseph Stein and Rick Fortman. The two co-own 13 Blaze Pizza restaurants, primarily across Inland Empire and some in Orange County.

Stein shares to What Now San Diego, “There’s a great lineup of businesses at The Vineyard and very complementary to Blaze Pizza.” Their business is expected to lead the way in completing construction at the site. Locals can expect them to fire up the pizza hearth by October 2022. Stay informed by following Blaze Pizza on Facebook
