Wine Girl, a Scottsdale-based wine bar that has a location in Napa Valley, is getting ready to expand into San Diego for the first time, located at 460 Fifth Avenue.
The company recently announced on social media that it is opening its third location in the heart of San Diego’s Gaslamp neighborhood in the former home of Oakley. The new Wine Girl San Diego is expected to open by the end of the year, possibly early next year. When it does, customers can expect a variety of wines from around the world, as well as a handful of snacks, such as complimenting cheeses. The concept is also known for its brunch bites and an overall impressive alcohol list.

We will all be sipping wine and hanging San Diego style in late 2024/early 2025.”
Founders Travor and Amy Johnston opened the first Wine Girl from Arizona in 2020 before branching out to California last year. For their second California location, the husband-and-wife duo will transform 2,400 square feet into a pink paradise with plenty of flowers surrounding the seating areas. The new Wine Girl San Diego will be open seven days a week and host weekly and monthly events, such as drag brunch, paint and sip nights, and more.
