The company’s fifth location is set to move into the ground floor of the Gateway at Torrey Hills building, likely in the former home of Bistro 24. Co-owner Caroline Comenale tells What Now San Diego that the company plans to open this location sometime in October 2024. The concept appears to be popular in the area, as she and her sister, Aline, have opened other locations of Pinpoint Cafe in La Jolla by the Sea, La Jolla Village, Carmel Valley, and most recently, in UTC.

When the new Torrey Hills location opens later this year, customers can expect a tasty yet balanced menu of different food and drink options. Some specialty drinks include a blue ocean latte and a honey cinnamon latte, while other choices on the menu include fruit smoothies, tea, cold brew, espresso, and more. To eat, Pinpoint Cafe offers a few breakfast options, ranging from English muffins to breakfast burritos, as well as quesadillas, paninis, salads, wraps, and acai bowls.

“PINPOINT CAFE was the vision of two sisters that found their dream job working in the coffee industry,” according to the company’s website. “For many years the sisters worked their way up while saving what they could in order to open their very own shop. Today, the Pinpoint Cafe team continues to build the brand by putting warmth and personality back into your morning cup of coffee.”
