Serving Taiwanese style hot pot, YinTang puts their unique spin on the traditional dish by allowing guests to customize their bowls with their preferred mix of meats and vegetables, served hot with their signature beef bone broth.

According to a new permit filing with the city, the San Diego location is expected to land in the Convoy Pointe Plaza Shopping Center. It will replace the now closed A-Bowl Chinese Restaurant.

YinTang provides customers with over 70 fresh ingredients to choose from, prepared in-house daily. How it works is you fill up your bowl with your choice of raw ingredients, then bring it to the YinTang staff who weighs your bowl, charging a designated fee per pound, you select your preferred spice level, then the staff takes care of cooking your ingredients in broth, and in minutes you’re served your unique bowl of hotpot soup.
