Varga Vineyards will join as a new tenant at The Headquarters at Seaport Village. Real estate firm Location Matters recently announced Vinícola Varga Tasting Room & Wine Bar have signed on to the historic former police headquarters anchored by restaurants Puesto and Eddie V’s.
Owner Mike Varga tells What Now San Diego the spot will bring together inspiration from Baja’s Valle de Guadalupe, mixing in Oregon-grown wines, plus appetizers and small plates.
Varga will be highlighting some of his personal favorite wineries from South of the Border, as well as the Varga Family Vineyards collection of Pinot Noir crafted and aged in San Diego with grapes grown in the famed Willamette Valley, Oregon.
The Wine Bar will fit into a 340 square foot space, with outdoor patio seating to soak up the Hacienda-style architecture of The Headquarters. Varga imagines guests sipping wine under the string lights while enjoying the live music on-site.
Vinícola Varga Tasting Room & Wine Bar will undergo minor renovations in the upcoming months and is expected to open this Spring. For now, check out their Website for the nearest location to sip Varga Family Wines around the San Diego area.
