Toasted Barrel specializes in Bourbon-based cocktails and inventive Grilled Cheese sandwiches. Introduced first in 2018 in Savannah, GA, Toasted Barrel is the brainchild of Island Hospitality’s VP of Food and Beverage, Thomas Ciszak

Fresh off the heels of their second location opening in Woodland Hills earlier this year, the IH team will reimagine their Downtown bar at Residence Inn to place the latest Toasted Barrel.

On the menu, we can expect a variety of signature grilled cheese sandwiches like the Classic Double Cheddar or Crispy Goat Cheese with fig jam, along with sweet potato tots and shareable starter dishes and salads. Their cocktail menu boasts more than 40 Bourbon options, Bourbon Flights, handcrafted cocktails, and local craft beers.

What Now San Diego has reached out to Island Hospitality Management who manages the Toasted Barrel locations in their portfolio of hotels nationwide. We will update this story as more information becomes available for the new Gaslamp experience. Get to know Toasted Barrel by visiting their Website and get a taste of what’s to come.
