The Red Chickz earned strong brand recognition through TikTok, garnering 1.1 million followers with mouth-watering content featuring their signature spicy chicken and sauces. Following recommendations from their TikTok fanbase, The Red Chickz are bringing the chicken to the people with more stores heading to their home state of California, plus Texas, Nevada, and Arizona.

Within the first 100 days of 2022, they signed 18 units and have more than a dozen deals growing in Houston, Texas, plus more densely-populated areas in California like Los Angeles, Fresno, and Orange County.

Franchisee Mattie Shlemon tells What Now San Diego they’re scouting future sites in San Diego to place the first three locations but in terms of their growth “the skies the limit with Red Chickz.”

What sets the Red Chickz apart from other hot chicken restaurants is their specially-developed breading that stays crispy even when slathered in their signature sauces and toppings. Beyond serving tenders, wings, and chicken sandwiches, their menu also boasts tacos, Chicken N French Toast, and vegetarian options featuring their Chickz Cauliflower.

While locations have not been confirmed for San Diego, reports say the Red Chickz will begin growing in multiple areas of Southern California in Fall 2022. Get to know their menu by visiting their Website and follow on Facebook for more information.
