Thai Thai Restaurant will add a new stop in the Village O area of San Marcos, down the road from CSU San Marcos. This will mark their fifth Thai Thai location, with other outposts in Fallbrook, Vista, Santee, and Oceanside.
This will be a sister restaurant to Oceanside, which opened last year. While all Thai Thai Restaurants are related, they are each owned by separate associates. Owned by Jane Dart and Yo Ratananon, the new location is promised to bring a more unique concept with the same notable and familiar customer service as the other locations.
The new San Marcos stop will specialize in Northern Thai cuisine like their Oceanside counterpart. Their Chef is ready to share traditional dishes from their home in the Chang Mai area of Thailand. Expect spicy noodle dishes, curry plates, entrees flavored with ginger, plus familiar favorites like Pad See Ew and Thai Fried Rice.
Thai Thai San Marcos is waiting on permits to be issued and the go-ahead from city inspections. With all permitting in place, the restaurant is expected to open by December but no date has been planned at this time. Hungry North County residents can order up Thai Thai food at their Website.
