Since 2001, Owner Sam Morikizono has grown Tajima Ramen across San Diego and even dipping into LA and Tijuana. Over the recent years, Morikizono has slimmed down Tajima’s locations, closing Long Beach and one restaurant in Tijuana.

Now Tajima looks to be rebuilding their lineup of restaurants, bringing another new location further West. Plus Tajima will offer another location to the South, with their restaurant at Plaza Bonita in National City opening in November 2022

Known for their traditional Ramen dishes with Tonkatsu Broth, Tajima also offers a variety of rice bowls with toppings like Spicy Salmon Poke or Pork Chashu, and even offer tacos with a Japanese twist in options like Carnitas or Karaage.

No word yet on when Tajima Ramen will open their latest Crown Point location. Stay updated by following Tajima on Instagram.
