In May, What Now San Diego covered the expansion of Swagyu Chop Shop Restaurant and Bar in Pacific Beach. Today, we’re here to tell you Swagyu has plans to open a new restaurant in Imperial Beach, which will accompany Swagyu Chop Shop already located at 1002 Palm Ave.

Just two days ago, SwagyuBurgerSD shared across its social media channels, “our new flagship restaurant in Imperial Beach will be opening very soon just like our @swagyupb location with the full menu, Burger, butcher, bar, brunch and steakhouse!!! ‼️Let’s go SOUTH BAY‼️” Swagyu Imperial Beach will have a butcher shop, burgers, a bar, a steakhouse, brunch, and a tasting menu.

Curious what Swagyu has to offer? A recent Instagram post shows the searing of A5 Kobe NY Strip Block Cut from Hyogo Prefecture in Japan. “This is the holy grail of wagyu and we are one of very few to be certified in the USA to buy and sell this prized wagyu beef,” captioned the post. In addition to these killer cuts, the Swagyu brand is known for its signature Smash Burgers.

Follow SwagyuIB’s social media for updates on its opening.
