Succulent Cafe will make its comeback this year at the site of The Brick Hotel in Oceanside. The open-air cafe closed their original Oceanside location back in 2020 but is still in operation in Carlsbad Village.
They’ll join the likes of Grind and Prosper Hospitality Group‘s new restaurant concepts, Q&A Restaurant and Oyster Bar, and CocoCabana. The Brick Hotel site has been working on its transformation from a historic 1800’s-era building to a 10-room boutique hotel.
Succulent Cafe will open in the back courtyard of The Brick, adorned with their namesake succulent plants. The coffee shop offers a simple menu of coffee, teas, specialty espresso drinks, and pastries.
The Brick Hotel will be opening in stages, beginning with the opening of the hotel then the restaurants. A rep for the hotel says they are finalizing the project and hope to open doors sometime in March but the date is dependent on a variety of factors. The hotel is now accepting reservations for April 1st and on. The restaurants are expected to open in phase two in late-Spring 2022.
