The Street Corner franchise business continues their fast expansion with a new Street Corner Urban Market location coming to the UCSD Campus. This location is a first for the business, having never opened a store on a University campus.
Street Corner Urban Market at UCSD will serve students living in the Nuevo West Housing Community and the La Jolla Family House which houses families receiving cancer treatment and bone marrow transplants in the neighboring UCSD Health building.
The Urban Market category of the business serves as a bridge between a convenience store and a grocery store, offering elevated food and beverage choices.
Street Corner Urban Market at UCSD will serve a variety of fresh, prepared foods, like salads, sandwiches, and wraps. Plus they’ll be offering unique dishes like pizzas and “Naanwiches,” made from naan bread baked fresh at their in-house kitchen. According to the recent ABC Permit filing for the Market, they’ll also be offering alcoholic options and craft beers.
The new market is expected to open by End of 2021. Keep up with the fast-growing business by following their Facebook page.
