The Orange County based group that operates Nick’s Restaurants will introduce their sister concept next door to their latest outpost in Del Mar. South of Nick’s Mexican Kitchen will replace International Smoke at the upscale shopping district known as One Paseo.
Headquartered in Irvine, Nick’s Restaurants operates seven Nick’s locations across Southern California including Del Mar and Carlsbad. South Of Nick’s Mexican Kitchen and Bar spots can currently be found in San Clemente and Laguna Beach.
House specialties include Filet Mignon Ranchero, Enchiladas Divorciadas, and Birria Tacos. At the bar, South of Nick’s offers a wide variety of tequilas and mezcals with specialty cocktails like the Spicy Avocado and margaritas by the pitcher.
