A third Soi concept appears to be in the works.

Khwanta Osanai’s flagship restaurant, Soi 30th North Park Thai Eatery, opened back in 2017. Since then, Osanai has opened Soi OB Thai Street Food, a gastropub in Ocean Beach that specializes in Thai street fare. The two are sister stores.

It appears Osanai isn’t stopping there though. Permit intel obtained by What Now San Diego suggests a third restaurant is in the works. A permit application was recently filed for Soi RB Thai Street Food at 15817 Bernardo Center Drive, Suite 106. The permit application reveals Suite 106 is a 875 square-foot space. The eatery will be open from 11AM to 9PM Monday-Friday and 11AM-9:30PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

If Soi OB is any indication, Soi RB will offer up dishes like chicken satay, Thai crispy chicken wings, and crispy fried pork belly. A variety of salads are also on Soi OB’s menu: larb hed, larb mock duck, and larb moo kob, among others. The menu boasts a substantial list of specials.

We’re looking forward to seeing what this newest addition to the family brings.
