Side Chick out of the Ridgeview/Webster neighborhood is planning location number two in Imperial Beach. A recent permit filing places the fast-casual restaurant in the shopping center at Coronado Avenue and Saturn Boulevard, anchored by Rite Aid.
Owner Jonny Dallo confirms with What Now San Diego that much like its original mid-city spot, its second restaurant will install in another Manolo Farmers Market location.
Guests can expect the same menu of Side Chick’s signature chicken sandwiches, chicken strips, and loaded fries. Highlights include a Nashville-style chicken sandwich called the Hot Chick, or the Skinny Chick featuring grilled chicken breast, avocado, and Skinny Chick sauce. You can never go wrong with the Side Chick, made with hand-breaded fried chicken, Bad-B sauce, pickles, and coleslaw on a brioche bun.
