“We are beyond excited to announce that we are opening a second location in North Park this summer,” Rouleur Brewing Company posted onto Facebook this week.

The site will reportedly be located on the corner of University Ave. and 29th St. next door to The Observatory music venue. It will feature coffee, beer, wine and food.

Rouleur Brewing, established in Carlsbad in 2016 offers discerning recipes and ingredients and its beers are designed to be stylish without precedence and irreverent without recklessness.

Owner Rawley Macias has been brewing for over a decade and wants to make a great beer that bends rules and steps outside the confines of formal guidelines.

Macias loves beer that is well-rounded, balanced, yet with unusual flavor profiles that can defy convention.

Rouleur beer is distinguished by its subtle, sophisticated style deviations, brewed with intimate knowledge of the past and present, according to the website.

From the Domestique Blonde Ale to the Boneshakeur New Zealand Pilsner, Rouleur offers classic beers with its own twist.

San Diego Beer News reports that the tasting room will be located at 2899 University Avenue in North Park in a 1,700 square foot space that is in the same building as The Observatory. Local chef Tyson Blake and java professional Nikki Peterson will also reportedly be helping out at the new spot.

Macias could not be reached for comment prior to publication.
