“This newest venture will be Jenny and James Pyo’s ninth restaurant location,” Harumama Marketing Manager Hiba Khalid said. “This power couple is the force behind Blue Ocean, Love Boat Sushi, and Pokewan. They are passionate about serving delicious food to the people in their community.”

With a wide selection of noodle dishes, handcrafted buns, and other tasty treats, Harumama serves reimagined traditional Japanese recipes with a modern flair.

“Harumama is best known for the Instagram-famous handcrafted buns, which rotate through seasonally available faces and fillings,” Khalid added.

Khalid said the plan was for Pyo to open at least three new locations in San Diego within the next year.

Along with its classic ramen and character buns, each Harumama has its own unique menu options to entice visitors.

“This new location will offer super fresh, high-quality nigiri and sushi rolls with daring new flavors and combinations, which will pair well with exotic Japanese and Korean drinks like matcha beer and jelly sake,” Khalid added.
