Owner Tramy Tran tells What Now San Diego the new location will serve as a retail storefront and manufacturing hub for the business that has grown since the pandemic.

A regular at local farmers markets like Little Italy Mercato and Hillcrest Farmers Market, Tran anticipates Salty Lemonade to continue serving the public at various pop-up events throughout San Diego.

The business sells a variety of preserved fermented items from kimchi to pickled vegetables but the star of the show is their fermented salty lemonade concentrate. Based on a family recipe, their website shares the story of introducing the unique traditional Vietnamese drink to the greater San Diego community. Beyond its distinctive taste, the product is said to have hydrating and immunity boosting benefits.

Tran shares Salty Lemonade will open up shop in Escondido by Spring 2022. For now, purchase products online at their Website and follow Salty Lemonade on Instagram to stay updated with their weekly event schedule.
