Owner Tramy Tran tells What Now San Diego the new location will serve as a retail storefront and manufacturing hub for the business that has grown since the pandemic.
A regular at local farmers markets like Little Italy Mercato and Hillcrest Farmers Market, Tran anticipates Salty Lemonade to continue serving the public at various pop-up events throughout San Diego.
The business sells a variety of preserved fermented items from kimchi to pickled vegetables but the star of the show is their fermented salty lemonade concentrate. Based on a family recipe, their website shares the story of introducing the unique traditional Vietnamese drink to the greater San Diego community.
