The bakery specializes in delectable pastries by Chef and Owner Melanie Dunn, a French-trained pastry chef. Dunn started her shop from her home in 2018 with a small menu of baked goods which quickly gained popularity.

Pâtisserie Mélanie is known for their variety of classic French-style pastries that you won’t find in your typical bakeshop. From classic butter croissants, to sweet or savory flavors. Try a chocolate pistachio sablé cookie, or a flaky cinnamon-cardamom kouign-amann. They also offer cannelés and delicate macarons in multiple flavors.

What Now San Diego has reached out to Pâtisserie Mélanie for an update and will share information as it becomes available. Recent reports say the bakery is expected to open in Early 2022. For now, follow on Instagram to learn more.
