“This will be our version of a virtual food hall,” Owner John Kolaski said. “We’ll be coming in with a number of our brands to execute a small standalone brick-and-mortar location.”

He said the new spot will be just off the beach in a 450-square-foot unit.

“This particular location in Pacific Beach will highlight a takeout menu,” Kolaski said. “We’ll have outdoor seating and customers will be able to walk to a cashier slide window to get their orders taken.”

Brands featured will include Pop’s Burgers & Shakes, a fast-casual burger concept, and Supertoro, which lets customers build their own bento boxes filled with salads, cut rolls, hand rolls, and specialty rice, Street Noods, Asian-inspired night market noodles, among others

“We’ll have tacos, beer, and want to be a spot down at the beach to hang out,” Kolaski added. “We want to take advantage of the outdoor environment with this location and its proximity to everything in Pacific Beach.”

With its flagship location, a traditional food hall, in Santa Monica, SocialEats is opening multiple “on-the-go locations” in Los Angeles, including one in Hollywood and another in Mid-Wilshire opening in a couple of weeks. A delivery location is also opening in Anaheim soon.

Kolaski said the goal is to open the Pacific Beach location in the next month.
