San Diego’s OMG Hospitality is keeping busy, acquiring the Goody’s Tavern property in the coastal town of San Clemente. The news comes from Marc Karren of Location Matters, who represented the Seller and Buyer in the sale of the property.

The 7,551 square foot lot sold for $2.5 Million, bringing with it a Type 48 liquor license and 3,700 square feet of bar space on El Camino Real.
Earlier this year OMG Hospitality debuted their latest concept, Moe’s in Mission Beach. OMG purchased the Saska’s Steakhouse property in 2020 with the intention of keeping the tradition alive at the neighborhood restaurant while bringing it into a new era with a significant investment and upgrade.
Much like Saska’s, Goody’s Tavern has been a community staple for San Clemente dating back to 1929. According to a press release by Location Matters, the property will continue to be operated as Goody’s by their staff under the new property ownership.
