Healthy lifestyle brand, Oakberry Acai, continues to build on its plans for expansion in Southern California. Last year, Oakberry shared that San Diego was an essential market for the Brazilian brand to establish itself in. Now, the acai specialists are on track to add its next stop in Pacific Beach.
San Diegans have already had a taste of the authentic brand that’s shaking up the acai experience with a location at Westfield UTC. According to a new permit filing, Oakberry will join the coastal neighborhood with an address on Garnet Avenue.
Oakberry serves a nutritious treat with photo-worthy toppings like peanut butter, coconut, chia pudding, fresh fruit, and granola layered between its proprietary blend of acai.
Founded in São Paulo, Brazil in 2016, the company now has around 600 stores in over 30 countries. According to a press release, Oakberry is estimating another 35 stores will open in the US in 2023. There are currently seven locations open in Southern California, with more stops headed for LA and Orange County.
