Chula Vista’s Novo Brazil Brewing Co. is planning their first venture into Central San Diego. San Diego Union Tribune reports that Novo has secured their next restaurant and taproom space in Westfield Mission Valley Mall.
The new 350-seat space is expected to feature 60 taps, pouring Novo beers, Nova Easy Kombucha, plus California Spritz beer cocktails, and hard seltzers. According to San Diego Beer News, the Mission Valley spot is anticipated to be one of four locations the brewery plans to open in 2023.
The South County craft brewery most recently debuted their newest restaurant and taproom facility at Bikeway Village in Imperial Beach. Novo Brazil can currently be found in Chula Vista, Otay Ranch, Market on 8th Food Hall in National City, Ocean Beach, and IB.
Their restaurants serve up Brazilian-inspired dishes like Coxinha (chicken croquettes) and empanadas, plus entrees like grilled skewers, salads, and burgers.
