According to lease intel acquired by What Now San Diego, the casual Italian eatery will move in to a 1,969-square-foot space on Cuyamaca Street. Nicolosi’s has seen their fair share of change recently, closing down their Gaslamp Quarter location, Nicolosi’s on Fifth, in April 2022.

Founded by Salvatore Nicolosi, the restaurant has maintained steady service to the San Diego community since 1952. The original Nicolosi’s was located in Mission Hills, and has continued on under ownership of Salvatore’s grandchildren. Nicolosi’s serves a menu of authentic Italian pasta dishes, specialty pizza, and torpedo sandwiches.

The Nicolosi’s team have shared a questionnaire on their Website, asking regular customers to let them know how often they might be able to visit the new Santee location. Their restaurant also offers take-out and delivery services.

What Now San Diego has reached out to the team at Nicolosi’s for an update on the Santee restaurant. For now, stay tuned for additional information by following their Facebook page.
