A new concept from the team who brought us Steamy Piggy and Formoosa will add another restaurant in Point Loma called Bok Bok Dok. While their website states its address is the same as Steamy Piggy’s, a recent liquor license application was filed at 3960 West Point Loma Blvd in Midway Towne Center, replacing now closed Little Cay OB.

Owner Frankin Chou Chan most recently opened Flama Llama this year, featuring a new take on Latin American cuisine in Kearny Mesa.

Now their team is onto Bok Bok Dok, which looks to be inspired by Thai, Chinese, and Korean cuisine much like their other concepts. Menu highlights include chicken in various flavors like soy garlic, thai chili, and “Barbokq,” and the Bok Bok Sandwich.

Similarly to Steamy Piggy, the restaurant will offer Bulgogi Bowls, Kimchi Fried Rice, tacos, and yucca fries. Their drink menu features a Passion Fruit Limonada, Mango Agua Fresca, plus cocktails like margaritas, mojitos, and yogurt Soju.

While Bok Bok Dok does give a preview on its Website, the restaurant is not yet set up on social media. An opening date for Bok Bok Dok has not been announced.
