New Owners, Hillary Hutson and Casey Currier, have taken over the venue from former Comedy Palace Owner George Salek. The two will combine their wealth of experience in comedy, club management, and event production to bring us Mic Drop.

Their Google Business introduction states, “Our goal is for you to come see your favorite comedian and leave having found your favorite comedy club. We intend to provide an unforgettable experience with our customer service, a fun ambiance, and next-level food and drinks.”

The next-level food mentioned will include a menu of elevated sandwiches, à la carte side dishes, and shareable dishes like charcuterie plates. Mic Drop describes their venue plans and food offerings as “Alice and Wonderland meets Cheech and Chong.”

Mic Drop is currently filling staffing needs and is projected to open in May 2022. Follow Mic Drop Comedy on Instagram for more information as they release their schedule this month!
