Chef and Owner Takashi Endo is known as the “Ramen Master,” receiving this title from the Tokyo Ramen Show. Endo has made a long career opening restaurants that serve traditional Ramen, without additives or preservatives, allowing a deep expression of flavor to come through the handmade dishes.

Known for their fresh, made-daily noodles, Menya Ultra have been honored by the Michelin Guide, San Diego Magazine, and even notable culinary experts like Food Network’s Andrew Zimmern.

Reports estimate the new Menya Ultra will anchor The Collection in Fall 2022. For now, try Menya Ultra’s well-known dishes like their hand-pulled Hokkaido Wheat Noodles at their locations in Clairemont Mesa, Mira Mesa, and Hillcrest. Visit their Website for information on all open locations.
