According to the new permit filing, Mendo Farms will land at Camino Village Plaza on North El Camino Real in Encinitas. Your favorite sandwich market will neighbor a Vons, Jamba Juice, and Chipotle.

Mendocino Farms entered the San Diego area in 2016 in La Jolla. Since then, they’ve opened in Del Mar, Carlsbad, and most recently in Downtown and Mission Valley.

Their restaurants serve happiness in sandwich form, with a mission toward providing sustainably-sourced ingredients from local growers, artisan bread makers, and family-run poultry farms. On the menu, you’ll find chef-inspired sandwiches and paninis, classic homestyle sandwiches, gourmet salads, and wholesome bowls. Plus, you can customize your order with a combo half-sandwich with a soup or deli side like their potato salad.

A representative for Mendocino Farms confirmed the location is expected to open in Fall 2022. This location will bring 70 new jobs to the area, which can be found by visiting the Mendocino Farms Website. Learn more and follow on Facebook for location updates.
