Stephanie Mann has been providing San Diegans with decadent French baked goods for over two years now. Under the company name Le Pâtisseries De Stéphanie, Mann caters confections like meringues (truly a talent, have you seen the YouTube videos on how to make those?), chocolate mousses, tartelettes, financiers, and, of course, macarons. Mann’s brioche is a “soft, slightly sweet braided loaf” which she recommends plain or stuffed with sweet raisins or chocolate chips. And these items are only some of what you can order from Les Pâtisseries De Stéphanie.

Currently, the handmade pastries can be purchased out of Carlsbad, where Mann appears to operate the bakery from a home. Though that may be about to change. A permit application filed with San Diego county indicates Les Pâtisseries is expanding to a commissary kitchen in Oceanside.

We were unable to reach Mann for comment at the time of publication, so we have yet to determine when the company will begin using its new space. In the meantime, orders can be placed with Le Pâtisseries De Stéphanie via phone, email, social media, and WhatsApp. So the next time you’re looking for lemon macarons, you know who to call.
