Kebab Craft will serve up Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes, focusing on classics and keeping their menu simple. What Now San Diego spoke with Owner Shannon Salhany about the new concept. “This is our first restaurant for my husband and I. We’ve been planning since the beginning of 2021 and knew we wanted to bring it to Liberty Public Market. It’s a great place to get our foot in the door. We saw a need to bring Middle-Eastern food there, and it was something we could contribute to. It made it a perfect fit,” explains Salhany.

Their menu will consist of plates, bowls, sandwiches, and Specialty items TBD as they continue to design their offerings. Their main proteins will be chicken and beef Shawarma, and beef and lamb gyros.

As Liberty Public Market expands, repurposing a bike shop, they’ll make room for more brick and mortar spaces like Kebab Craft. “It’s a very high-traffic area, and we’re so lucky to be there among other great restaurants,” shares Salhany.

Construction has begun on the future home of Kebab Craft, while other retailers like Baker and Olive have already opened as work continues around the area. Kebab Craft is expected to open in Spring 2022. They recently joined Instagram and will begin building up their brand ahead of their Liberty Station debut.
