Owner Gabby Gonzalez tells What Now San Diego the idea behind the concept is to blend her Mexican culture with her husband and chef Benjamin Clement’s French heritage. Gonzalez says that Hola Paris will incorporate some of your favorite Mexican flavors into traditional French dishes.

The all-day menu will feature sweet and savory crepes with fillings like fresh fruit and cajeta or veggies and housemade salsa, freshly-baked French pastries, and macarons with a Mexican twist, incorporating flavors like horchata and Dulce de Leche. For the brunch crowd, Hola Paris will serve up signature coffee drinks like a Nutella Latte and Abuelita Mocha, and pinkies up for specialty wine-based options like Mexican-inspired Mimosas and their take on a Kir Royale.

Gonzalez shares that they’re finalizing plans for the interior decor to bring together the Mexican-French fusion concept and playing with menu options that you won’t find anywhere else.

Hola Paris is expected to debut in June 2023. Stay updated on a grand opening announcement and preview the space by following on Instagram
