Himalayan Sherpa Cuisine is planning to bring a taste of the Himalayas to Carlsbad Village soon. A recent permit filing places the new restaurant at 795 Carlsbad Village Drive.
Owner Ishwari Pandey tells What Now San Diego the new restaurant will specialize in Himalayan and Nepalese cuisine, incorporating Indian and Tibetan flavors and spices as well. Himalayan Sherpa Cuisine is a sister restaurant to Everest Himalayan Cuisine in Encinitas.
Serving fresh and health-focused options, their menu will feature vegetarian dishes like Nawaratan Korma or Chana Masala, plus Lamb Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Curry, Shrimp Tandoori, their specialty Himalayan Biryani, and Momos.
