The restaurant group headed up by owners Jenny and James Pyo operates concepts like Love Boat Sushi, Blue Ocean Robata Sushi, and Harumama restaurants across the San Diego region.

The group recently announced a third location of Blue Ocean Sushi would be joining Westfield UTC in La Jolla, to open in Late 2023

Now the Pyo’s have secured site number six for Harumama, the trendy Asian-fusion restaurant known for its expansive menu and bun-derfully photogenic dishes. Harumama currently operates in Carlsbad, Encinitas, Ocean Beach, Little Italy, and a dual-concept with Blue Ocean Sushi in La Jolla.

The menu at Harumama has attracted a fan following, with options ranging from ramen to sushi, noodle bowls, and their signature hand-decorated buns in a selection of cutesy animals with sweet or savory filling.

It’s unclear for now what’s in store for Harumama’s latest real estate acquisition. Get acquainted with all Harumama locations by visiting their website
