Good Time Design is close to opening Go Go Amigo at Liberty Station and they’re already working on the next debut. The hospitality group will introduce Happy Does in the restaurant space which formerly housed the Gaslamp Strip Club Steakhouse on Fifth Avenue.
SanDiegoVille first reported on the project which is planning to be a country music and Americana-themed restaurant. The team is no stranger to country music, operating local restaurants such as Moonshine Beach, Moonshine Flats, and other popular venues in the Nashville area.
Happy Does are currently lacking a social media presence but artwork on the Good Time website implies a no-worries-all-smiles vibe. Good Time Design partner, Chef Todd Nash, is said to lead the menu creation on the new project.
