El Pez Kitchen is in the works in Barrio Logan’s colorful multi-use development Los Patios. Fresh on the heels of their third anniversary being open in Imperial Beach, the Mexican-inspired sushi restaurant is planned to join Cafe Madeleine at the brand new residential community.
Established in 2019 by Co-Owners Alex Aguayo and Armando Mondragon, El Pez Kitchen serves a unique menu of seafood-topped tostadas, noodle bowls like their Carnitas Ramen, and sushi rolls.
Los Patios community is emerging on National Avenue, featuring modern loft-style studio apartments with outdoor living spaces, views of Coronado Bridge, and a stylish central courtyard for tenants to mingle.
A representative for Urban Coast Properties tells What Now San Diego the development is in its final stages of approval and should debut in mid-June. The commercial real estate group is slowly initiating leases at the site and more news should be available soon.
No word yet on when El Pez is expected to open at the ground level of Los Patios. Until then, check out their Imperial Beach location on Palm Avenue and follow on Instagram for updates.
