Dave’s Hot Chicken will be opening in El Cajon by the end of the month. It’s the restaurant’s second location in the area, but far from its last expansion.

“We’re opening up in Mira Mesa in the next couple of months,” Dave’s Hot Chicken El Cajon Franchisee Lawrence Kourie said. “The plan is to open at least 12 Dave’s. We want to get it done as soon as possible.”

Locations number four and five for San Diego are already in the works, Kourie added.

“We want to provide for the community we grew up in and are not going to let the community down,” he said. “We will continue to provide a premium product.”

The grand opening for the newest restaurant, going in at 110 Fletcher Pkwy in Suite 101 in El Cajon, will be April 25.

Already found in Culver City and Northridge, Dave’s Hot Chicken prides itself on serving the best Nashville hot chicken around.

The first physical Dave’s Hot Chicken opened in Jan. 2018 in East Hollywood and the restaurant has continued to expand since then.

“We’re blessed to be in San Diego,” Kourie said.

Dave’s serves the best quality chicken, prepared in a proprietary brine, that after deep frying is topped with one of seven signature spice blends: reaper, extra hot, hot, medium, mild, little mild, or no spice.

Heading for Fletcher’s Plaza in El Cajon, Dave’s will be just off the Kumeyaay Highway.
