The chain bakery will occupy a 1,300 square foot suite on the first floor of the shopping center and will share the center with SeaSurf Fish Co, Le Bambou Restaurant, Broken Yolk, and many others shops and restaurants.

Crumbl Cookies got its start with the simple goal of making the ‘perfect’ chocolate cookie. Cousins Sawyer Hemsley and Jason McGowan first began testing cookies on local passerby at gas stations and grocery stores, asking them which of two recipes they preferred. Eventually, the co-founders got their recipes right and went live in Logan, Utah. Crumbl began as a delivery service while Sawyer finished up school at Utah State University—now the company offers, in addition to delivery, curbside pickup, nationwide shipping, as well as over-the-counter service.

Even if you find the concept of the chocolate cookie over rated, Crumbls’ rotating menu of 120+ specialty flavors will surely have some appeal. Some Crumbl cookies are served warm, like the chocolate cake cookie topped with fudge frosting and the lemon glaze; others are served chilled, like the sugar cookie with pink almond frosting. Crumbl even sells “Crumbl cream,”—their signature cookies transformed into ice cream.

According to the Crumbl website, “Not only are our cookies made fresh daily, but they’re baked in an open-kitchen for all cookie-lovers to see up close!” Team members at Crumbl mix, ball, and bake the dough every day, ensuring you’ll have only the freshest cookies at your disposal.

In June, Crumbl Cookies will take over the lease for Suite 2646 and should be nestled right next to Nail Salon, which, if you ask me, makes for an ingenious pairing. Who needs the milk? Treat yourself.
