Cross Street Chicken & Beer, an eatery that specializes in Korean fried chicken-meets-southern classic cooking and beer, is set to open its third brick-and-mortar next year, and this spot will have even more to offer. Owners of the restaurant that was voted Best Chicken Wings 2018/2019 by San Diego Magazine signed a lease just yesterday for a space in the Del Mar Highlands Town Center.

“We’re super exited to bring our primary menu of Chicken and beer, but because of the bigger footprint that we have [in Del Mar Highlands], we’re planning to offer a lot more drinks,” Owner Tommy Nguyen told What Now San Diego. The new location will have a full bar with a new menu of craft cocktails. “We’re also planning to add a few Korean comfort dishes to the menu to have a wider selection,” Nguyen added.

Cross Street Chicken & Beer in Del Mar Highlands will take over the space formerly occupied by California Natives, which is located at 2955 El Camino Real, Suite G-2.

Nguyen told What Now San Diego that the plan is to be up and running in Del Mar Highlands by the end of the first quarter of 2021. With over 20 beers on tap, signature soju cocktails, and specialty Korean bites, plus the new menu items, this is one opening you won’t want to miss.
