The classic North Park boutique hotel with their popular swim club accommodations was purchased last year by hospitality group Consortium Holdings aka CH Projects. CH operates highly swanky bars and restaurants like Fortunate Son and Polite Provisions in North Park, and Noble Experiment and El Dorado Downtown.

Since November 2021, What Now San Diego has been keeping a diligent eye on new permit requests submitted to the city for projects at The Lafayette labeled with names such as The Game Room, The Continental, and a Mezcaleria.

The rendering teases what we can expect to be The Game Room, which looks like a 1920s inspired art deco style bar. With dim lighting, velvet barstools, and rich wood-paneled walls, you can imagine sipping a crafty Manhattan at the marble bar.

Further details about The Game Room and other projects at The Lafayette Hotel are still under wraps but we look forward to updates as they become available. Stay in the know by following CLTVT on Instagram and checking out The Lafayette Hotel Website for the latest events.
