What Now San Diego spoke with Owner Davon Sharpe about their opening, expected for late 2021. Sharpe is an expert in the brand and franchise business, working with Chick’NCone Corporate and operating the location in Harlem, NY.

Customers can top their chopped fried chicken tenderloin made in fresh hand-rolled waffle cones with signature sauces like Kickin’ Ranch (Ranch and Sriracha), Cinna-Maple, and Yellow BBQ.

“The organization is all about the community, we want to get to know our customers on a first-name basis. And we love sports!” says Davon Sharpe. They’ve snagged the ideal location on J Street & Ninth Ave, making it a quick stop for food next door to the Padres home base. They mean quick – they’re serious about serving up your custom cone in 2 minutes or less.

Soon they’ll be offering an air-fried option for a healthier, no-grease fried chicken cone. For plant-based foodies, Chick’NCone are also launching an Impossible Chicken option to cover all the bases.

Beyond the Ballpark, Chick’NCone are planning a South Bay restaurant for 2022. More news from the new Chick’NCone can be found by following Facebook
