The post accompanied by a video reads, “We’ve certainly faced some challenges in getting Chick & Hawk open; But as we continue working with our team and the city we expect to open our doors this coming summer.”

According to Bachelier, as we wait for the brick-and-mortar location of Chick & Hawk, their team is planning pop-up events at various local breweries around North County to sample what’s to come at their poultry forward “fast-fine” concept.

Serving their signature sandwich, “The Birdman,” they promise some surprises along their holiday tour with stops at South O Brewing, Harland Brewing, Frankie’s Oceanside, and Black Plague Brewing.

In addition to the Chick & Hawk pop-up events, they’re working on Cafe Mana – a modern day atelier on South Coast Highway in Leucadia. The pop-up cafe is just a hop from their future restaurant location and is said to open in mid-January. No word yet on what we can expect from Cafe Mana’s menu.

As noted, Chick & Hawk is working through renovations in Leucadia and is expected to open by Summer 2023. Follow their Instagram for updates on their progress and to find them on their holiday pop-up tour.
