Known for their refurbished horse trailer turned cafe, Cattle Dog Coffee has been serving up caffeinated drinks and baked goods from their spot on Highway 67 in Ramona since last year. They also serve the Miramar area of San Diego with a limited schedule at Embolden Beer Company.

Owners Chelsea and Steve Schoeni tell social media followers the new location will keep their small town feel but bring with it an opportunity to expand their menu and offer more drinks sizes.

True to the name of the business, the coffee company celebrates your cherished four-legged friends. The new spot will also include an area to purchase gift items for humans and dogs. As for the trailer, the Cattle Dog team has plans to turn their original unit into a rental for special events.

Cattle Dog Coffee Co. was handed keys to the former bakeshop this week and will be making some improvements ahead of their projected April 2022 opening. Follow them on Facebook for updates on the new spot.
