After closing their location on El Cajon in the College Area, Cafe X: By Any Beans Necessary moved forward in search of a new place to settle their business that meshed with their mission. It seems they’ve found a match and are working out the details to move into artistic hub, 1835 Creative Studios. Located in the Sherman Heights neighborhood at 1835 Imperial Avenue, Cafe X will join a community dedicated to gathering creative professionals and inspiring the culture.

What Now San Diego spoke with Co-Owner and Mother in the family-owned Cafe X operation, Cynthia Ajani. About 1835 Studios, Ajani says, “There is good synergy with the activities they have going on there. The businesses in that space will compliment what we do, and everyone likes coffee.”

Cynthia Ajani and her daughter/Co-Owner Khea Pollard will be serving patrons of businesses on-site like the barber shop, tattoo studio, art galleries, rented studio spaces, and various office spaces.

1835 Creative Studios and Cafe X have mutual values in common, such as building and connecting to their community, and creatively collaborating with like-minded partners. The new space is designed to foster local brands and give access to entrepreneurs opening their first brick-and-mortar spots. The space is also ready to host private or public events and gatherings, which Cafe X is known for alongside their loyal followers.

Look out for more details coming soon from Cafe X: By Any Beans Necessary and their move to 1835 Creative Studios, which is expected this Fall. To join the Cafe X movement, follow them on Instagram.
