The business is headed up by co-owners Elion and Amy Prodani, both San Diego newcomers from Las Vegas. Elion is said to bring over 15 years of restaurant experience, previously managing a steakhouse at the Wynn Las Vegas and Amy will bring design experience to the project.

Bun & Patti’s creative director Denessa Sims tells What Now San Diego guests can expect a menu with fine dining elements reminiscent of a classic French bistro but with the edgy look of a Lower East Side burger joint and a more affordable price point.

Bun & Patti’s signature burger is a combination of chuck, short rib, and brisket on a freshly baked bun sourced from a local bakery. Also on the menu, a dry-aged burger by Flannery Beef, Wagyu sliders, a vegan burger, a chicken sandwich, along with craft beer on tap, wine, and fresh milkshakes.

Bun & Patti is expected to open in late January 2023. Find them on Instagram to learn more as progress is made in Little Italy.
