What Now San Diego spoke to Owner Tanya Hadlick about their growth since 2020. Bucked Up Saloon is coming up on its One Year Anniversary in Old Town Temecula this October.

Despite their opening during a tough year, Hadlick says, “Temecula took off from day one. We have so many regulars. They really needed a Country bar in Temecula, we have so many Cowboys and Cowgirls here.”

Their strong Country Music concept is now expanding with their first stop being Oceanside. After that, there are plans to mix it up in Arizona and Texas.

Bucked Up Saloon is known for their fun, Country atmosphere, plus their sassy cowgirls that dance on the bar, Coyote-Ugly style. The new location will host the same concept, operating as a restaurant with a lively bar at night, and lots of dancing. Once all their permitting is in line with their new Oceanside digs, Hadlick is planning Live Country bands and DJ nights.

“Oceanside was a good landing point for us,” Hadlick explains, “We have a lot of Marines who are regulars so we wanted to go to that area. Oceanside will be a lot closer of a visit for them. Many of the Marines we meet are from out East, so Bucked Up gives them a bit of home.”

Hadlick confirms we have a couple of months to practice our line dancing moves before Bucked Up Saloon opens in Oceanside, this Winter 2021. In the meantime, look out for Anniversary celebrations in Temecula this October. Follow Bucked Up Saloon and meet the Bucked Up Babes on Instagram.
