Located at the heart of La Jolla, Beeside Balcony offers a dining experience with ocean views from its spacious outdoor balcony. Guests can indulge in a menu of fresh and locally sourced dishes, all while enjoying the picturesque scenery of the pacific coastline. The balcony / restaurant can also be reserved for semi-private events or full buyouts.

“We are excited to open our doors in La Jolla and share our love for food with the community,” said Christophe Cevasco, Owner and Chef of Beeside Balcony in a statement. “Our team is dedicated to creating a sustainable and welcoming space where guests can savor delicious food while admiring the natural beauty of the California coast.”

As part of its new location in La Jolla, Beeside Balcony will be unveiling a speakeasy called The Hive. Tucked away behind a secret door, The Hive will offer a unique and intimate atmosphere where guests can enjoy a completely separate cocktail menu than the restaurant. The Hive’s Moroccan decor will feature vintage elements and dim lighting, adding to its speakeasy charm. The Hive will open roughly a month after the restaurant opening and will also be available for private events.

“We wanted to create a space within a space, a hidden gem for our customers to discover and enjoy. The Hive speakeasy is the perfect addition to our new location, offering a unique and intimate experience for those looking for something a little different. We can’t wait for customers to discover The Hive!” Cevasco continued.

Beeside Balcony’s menu will feature Mediterranean dishes, including Fjord Salmon, Spanish Grilled Octopus, Seafood Risotto, Escargots De Bourgogne, Peppercorn Filet Mignon and more. Cocktails to name a few include the Bed of Roses made with hibiscus infused vodka, rose water, simple syrup, and lemon, and the Lavender’s Bee’s Knees made with butterfly pea flower infused gin, lemon, and lavender honey.

Beeside Balcony in La Jolla is open daily for lunch and dinner, followed by weekend brunch that will start at a later date.

Beeside Balcony in La Jolla is located at 1025 Prospect Street, Suite 250, in La Jolla.
